A free listing tells your story. Connected payment data helps support it. You choose what to share, and every figure says where it came from.
Verification tools are included in Premium, Plus and Max for each startup. Provider availability is shown in your dashboard. A paid badge is always separate from verified payment evidence.
- What is verified?
- We retrieve payment data directly from the source you connect, using read-only access. Each shared result shows the provider, selected product scope, covered period and import time. Publication and Premium payment do not themselves verify anything.
- How do I connect?
- Publish your free startup, open Upgrade, and buy Premium for that startup. Choose an available provider, connect read-only access and select the products belonging to the startup. Review the private import before sharing. Each startup needs its own Premium term.
- How is MRR calculated?
- MRR is the monthly-normalized value of supported active, paid recurring commitments, excluding taxes where they can be established. Annual contracts are divided by 12. Free trials, past-due or paused subscriptions, one-time purchases and uncommitted usage are excluded. When amounts, discounts, taxes or payment evidence cannot be established, the metric is unavailable.
- Are collections the same as revenue or MRR?
- No. Collections are successful payments recorded in the stated period, including customer taxes. Refunds and disputes are separate. Processor fees and payouts are not product revenue. Net collections are withheld when adjustments cannot be attributed safely. A 30-day payment total is never labelled MRR.
- What if my account contains several products?
- Select only the products for this startup. Another startup cannot reuse those products, even with a different API key. Unattributed payments and mixed-product transactions that cannot be split reliably are excluded and disclosed. This is evidence for the connected scope, not a guarantee of complete business revenue.
- Who can see the figures?
- Imports start privately. Share revenue publicly only after reviewing it; this also authorizes automatic refreshes for the same scope. Hide revenue at any time. Hide startup identity separately to use a confidential profile and public teaser. User estimates remain self-reported and members-only.
- How current is the evidence?
- Active sources are scheduled for hourly refreshes. After 24 hours without a complete import they become stale and leave current revenue rankings. Expiry or disconnect keeps previously shared figures as dated historical evidence. Renewal requires a new successful import.
- What does verification not prove?
- It does not establish identity, intellectual-property ownership, profit, business legitimacy, user counts, or whether a purchase is a good investment. Transactions can still be fraudulent or self-funded. Buyers must perform their own due diligence.
- What do you store?
- Credentials are encrypted on the server. We retain minimal financial records and pseudonymous customer identifiers for calculations, not customer names, email addresses, addresses or card details. Provider responses may contain personal information in transit; it is discarded before storage. Credentials and customer records are never published.
- Can I disconnect or delete the data?
- Disconnect stops access and destroys stored credentials immediately. You can also erase imported evidence. After plan expiry, credentials are removed after 30 days; retained evidence expires after 12 months of inactivity. Startup/account deletion removes the associated revenue data, subject to the existing suspended-listing support process.
Methodology: ventmark-v1. Figures use provider-record timestamps in UTC. Historical collections do not imply historical MRR. Currency conversions are approximate, using dated ECB reference rates; original-currency values remain available.
